If you've ever wanted buttons that are a perfect match and compliment your knitted masterpieces, try crochet button covers. You might need to
experiment a little to determine the exact size hook and how many strands of
yarn to use. The end result is usually well worth the effort. You'll
need a crochet hook--I usually use a size D--small amounts of matching yarn and
flat, shankless buttons. Because the buttons are covered, they don't need
to match the color or your garment..
